Yes, Harvester can search and copy archive files. When creating a job, there are several option to search archive files.

– Most known archive types can be identified by Harvester using the file types filter [Archives] or by supplying their individual extensions
– Using the “Keyword Filters” option “Extract individual files tat match keyword hits” from an archive, Harvester can search within and extract matching files from within ZIP (.zip), BZIP (.bz), MBOX (.mbx or .mbox), Thunderbird email stores, and Outlook email stores PST or OST (.pst and .ost, respectively)
– In the “Source Settings” section of the “Sources” tab, an option can be selected to allow Harvester to search ZIP files as sub-folders. This option is specific to ZIP files and allows you to apply the file type, hash, and date filters from the “File Filters” tab to the files that are compressed within the ZIP file
